Game Recap: Broncos 21 - Eagles 17 (Exciting Game!)

Lincoln Financial Field - In an exciting and dramatic game, the Denver Broncos erased a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter to take down the reigning Super Bowl Champions. Denver ended up winning 21-17 and handed Philadelphia its first loss of the season and breaking their 12-game home winning streak.
First Half - Eagles Look Strong
Denver scored first with a 55-yard field goal by Will Lutz.
Philadelphia responded with a 31-yard field goal by Jake Elliot.
Knotted at 3, Jalen Hurts ended an Eagles drive with a 2-yard touchdown pass to tight end Dallas Goedert in the second quarter.
After halftime, Hurts hit the Broncos hard again when he found Saquon Barkley for a 47-yard touchdown pass. After the first couple of minutes in the third quarter, the Eagles lead 17-3.
Fourth Quarter - Broncos Find a Way to Come Back
Everything went the Broncos' way in the fourth quarter. They scored 18 unanswered points and helped the reigning champs to 0.
J.K. Dobbins capped off a strong drive with a 2-yard rushing touchdown. This cut the lead to 17-10 Eagles.
The next drive, Bo Nix made multiple amazing throws and ended the drive with an 11-yard touchdown pass to first-year Broncos Evan Engram.
They followed the touchdown with a gutsy 2-point conversion call and converted. Bo Nix found Troy Franklin for the conversion, and the Broncos took the lead.
The Eagles converted a 4th down, but it was called back for an illegal shift on the offense. They punted back to the Broncos, and the game was capped off with a 36-yard field goal again by Will Lutz.
The Eagles made one last push with a Hail Mary attempt, but it was IN-COM-PLETE.
The Broncos finish the comeback and win 21-17.
Big Takeaways from the Game -
This proved to be one of Denver's most significant road wins with Bo Nix at the helm. They fought back through the second half and took down an undefeated team on the road. The resilience from the Broncos ended the Eagles' 10-game winning streak and 12-game home winning streak.
Denver looks to keep their momentum against an undefeated Jets across the pond in London next week!
